CME Details
Cuevas Medek Exercises (CME) is a dynamic and innovative therapy approach designed to improve motor skills and physical abilities in children with developmental and neurological conditions. Developed by Ramon Cuevas, CME focuses on challenging the child’s balance, coordination, and strength through specific exercises that encourage the development of motor functions.
The benefits of Cuevas Medek Exercises include:
Enhanced Motor Skills: CME helps children develop and refine their gross motor skills, such as sitting, standing, and walking.
Improved Balance and Coordination: The exercises are designed to challenge and improve the child’s ability to maintain balance and coordinate movements.
Increased Strength and Endurance: CME promotes muscle strength and endurance, aiding in overall physical development.
Encouragement of Independence: By improving physical capabilities, CME supports greater independence in daily activities.
Stimulating Neurological Development: The exercises stimulate the nervous system, promoting neural connections and enhancing overall neurological function.
Cuevas Medek Exercises offer a structured and supportive environment where children can reach their full physical potential, improving their quality of life and fostering greater independence.
Summer Intensives
We offer 5-day Cuevas Medek Exercises (CME) summer intensives, which can be arranged by discussing with your treating therapist. These intensives are designed to provide concentrated and focused CME sessions over a short period, maximizing the therapeutic benefits for the individual.
These intensives can be beneficial for individuals from out of town, as they offer an immersive experience in CME techniques. We are also happy to collaborate with your local therapist, ensuring continuity of care and ongoing support even after the intensive sessions. Together, we can create a tailored plan to meet your specific needs and goals.
