Children & Teens

The water is a great environment to work on so many skills!!

Does your child:

  • Have physical, sensory, or motor learning challenges that prevent them from swimming or taking part in swimming lessons?

  • Have oral motor or breath control challenges making them unsafe in the water?

  • Have pain or difficulty moving their joints?

  • Have high or low muscle tone?

  • Lack body strength or coordination?

Our aquatic programs offer a fun and engaging environment where kids can build strength, coordination, and confidence. With the gentle buoyancy and resistance of water, our skilled therapists guide children through playful exercises, contributing to their physical development and achieving meaningful goals.

Working with a knowledgeable therapist in the buoyancy and low impact environment of the pool promotes flexibility, alleviates pain, and enhances overall mobility - AND its fun!

Hydrotherapy:

  • Allows increased range of motion and freedom of movement

  • Can work on balance and coordination with reduced fear of falling

  • Improves circulation and blood flow

  • Allows for reduced weight bearing through an extremity following surgery

  • The resistance of the water can be used to strengthen weak muscles

and did we mention- its FUN!
